This is the eleventh Keesmere hat. Since I had all that dyed yarn and hadn't done any stranded knitting in a while, I chose a 13th century Spanish pattern from Here Be Wyverns. The crown decreases merged into the pattern very nicely, and I'm pleased with the look and feel of the final product. The next hat will also be stranded, using the medium gray yarn as the base color.
Otherwise, I've been immersed in learning new software for a part-time consulting project. Won't pay much, but any income greater than zero is welcome.
And I got a little bit of good news this morning: my spruce trees won't be affected by the road construction. One of them will need a haircut to allow for head room on the walkway, and the other is far enough back to be left alone.
