We interrupt this shawl

to knit a infant sweater. Emma's birthday is at the end of the month, and she has a new doll that is the size of a newborn. Since I didn't have any superwash merino in the stash, I picked up a little and have started a tiny purple cabled cardigan. I hope there's enough left to make a hat and/or booties.

I haven't found the copy of Knit'N'Style that Larry mentioned yet, but the beaded shawl is up on their website. I'm afraid to read it over in case of errors!

Cookie still has fragments of bladder stones. We're going to give her another two weeks of assorted drugs and then x-ray her again. At least she's housebroken again, although I still have to take her out at least once during the night (side effect of the drugs).
