Tonight's the blue moon, that is, the second full moon in a calendar month, and sometimes it feels as if that's how often I post. Mostly, low posting volume happens because I'm either working on fiber projects I can't show or I'm really busy with vital paying work. Or volunteer work: I've been converting logos from lo-res bitmaps to vector artwork for the worthy Ithaca Health Alliance - a sort of health care co-op for the un/under-insured.
I did finish the Schaefer design (only needs to be washed and blocked, and IMO it's cute :), and I have a new design boiling in my brain. I'm torn on selling that one on or selling it myself. I'd see more money sooner selling it myself, but wider exposure is also worthwhile for the long term. Flip a coin ...
Poor Cookie has re-injured her shoulder tendonitis. It finally seems to be healing (good thing I already have a large stash of tramadol for the pain), but I worry about her hurting it again. She has always crashed and burned while running around on the wood floors, but it unfortunately takes more of a toll at her advanced age. It's just not in her nature to slow down and be careful.
