Yarn haul

When you work for a yarn company, you occasionally head home with bunches of yarn. The four skeins on the left are all Schaefer Anne, while the one on the right is Helene. The Helene is for swatching, but the others are for designing. (The second from the right may combine with the black to become "parrot socks".)

Meanwhile, the shawl is within a few rows of the edging. Unfortunately, the weather has gotten hotter and sticky, which means my hands sweat a lot while knitting. Washing breaks slow me down, but, on the other hand, the cats don't want to sit in my lap. Maybe it balances out ...
