Patterns
Lace work
- A collection of knitted lace shawls, stoles and wimples. Many were done in handspun yarn. Click on an image for a larger picture and description, plus charts for some.
Socks and small knits

- Back in the dark ages (as in pre-1987), I used to knit sweaters. Nowadays, I rarely do, so I'll use this album to record some of what I have done and may yet to be.

A while back, I used to take my dogs to the beach. It was there that I saw a Bernese Mountain Dog whose particular trick was to run, full tilt, and, with no apparent reason, throw down her right shoulder and make a great whomping somersault into the sand. She would do this repeatedly and seemed to enjoy it. Her owner had no explanation, other than the dog seemed to have fun doing it. You could almost feel the thud when she hit the sand, but she'd get up and do it all over again. Dogs just wanna have fun!
